Overall

• We are seeking a business analyst intern / working student to support our Product Owner in developing our business core system and peripheral applications (webservices / portals). The application landscape is used by Allianz Partners business units and is being rolled out across countries in Europe and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Product Owner in the Software Development Lifecycle
• Conduct detailed analysis to translate the business requirements for development
• Carry out testing and product documentation
• Support coordinating the scrum team, including meeting organizations and meeting minutes

Requirements

• Experience with or interest in agile methodologies (Scrum preferred) Writing user stories (agile and lean specification)

• Experience with or interest in business analysis, especially for complex processes
• Ability to learn & discover & work independently
• Preferably basic SQL knowledge, experience/knowledge with SQL databases (motivation & willingness to learn is welcomed)
• Preferably basic API knowledge incl. testing (REST & Swagger)
• Preferably Tool knowledge for Jira & Confluence
• Strong communication skills to be able to work with different stakeholders
• Willingness to dive into complex and interconnected systems (an understand ER-diagrams) and ability to think on an abstract level
