Description
We're seeking a highly skilled and proactive UX/UI designer to join our team full-time as employee #3. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to make a substantial impact in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment. You are expected to thrive in a demanding and fast-moving environment. You will collaborate closely with our founders. We are hiring for an on-site role in our HQ in Berlin, Germany.
Your mission
- Design core product interface, define user journeys and experiences
- Create new ways to interact with Sealenic
- Develop a deep understanding of vastly different customer and user profiles
- Collaborate with our tech team to implement new features.
- Own our branding guidelines, develop branding elements for all comms channels
Your profile
It would be great if you had experience in the following areas:
Technical Skills...
- User Experience Design: Ability to conceptualise and implement design solutions that meet user needs and enhance usability.
- User Interface Design: Proficiency in visual design principles and tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or InVision.
- Prototyping and Wireframing: Skills in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and prototypes to explore design solutions and test usability.
- Responsive and Adaptive Design: Knowledge of designing applications and websites that work well on multiple devices and screen sizes.
- Interaction Design: Understanding of how to create engaging interfaces with logical and thought-out behaviors and actions.
- Typography and Color Theory: Strong sense of typography, layout, and color management.
- Graphic Design: Competence in graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Research and Strategy...
- User Research: Experience conducting user tests and surveys, and the ability to analyze feedback and activity to enhance user satisfaction.
- Competitor Analysis: Ability to analyze competitors and benchmark for industry standards.
- Information Architecture: Skills in organizing information clearly and logically to improve the ease of navigation.
Soft Skills...
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Ability to think creatively and logically to solve design challenges.
- Empathy: Strong user empathy and an understanding of human-centered design principles.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing technology and client requirements.
- Teamwork: Experience working in collaborative team environments and cross-functionally with developers, marketers, and product managers.
