Your Mission:
You are a passionate Penetration Tester, who would like to join our Security Assessments team in ASG Team. Our team helps our global clients to protect their value by performing hundreds of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, source code reviews, social engineering campaigns and adversary simulations per year. Discovered vulnerabilities along with our advice helps our clients to harden their environment against attacks and increases business resilience. Penetration tester focuses on security assessments of all kinds of applications, infrastructure, hardware and so on. This is a hands-on role, requiring technical skills ranging from the hardware to the application layer.
You are a devoted team member who is always willing to lend a hand, mentor a colleague, or increase our global team’s awareness by sharing your knowledge and approaches with others. You are productive, easy to work with, and understand that adherence to a good process is key to excellence.
What you can expect:

• Project WorkYou will be responsible for performing penetration tests of different areas varying from small applications or environments to huge and complicated enterprise systems or infrastructure. Perform security reviews of application designs, source code and deployments as required, covering all types of applications (web application, web APIs, mobile applications, thick client applications, SaaS) is also your daily work as well as reviewing and defining requirements for information security solutions. Possible participating on vulnerability assessments, source code reviews, social engineering campaigns, adversary simulations, SSDLC, cloud security or DevSecOps projects.
• TeamThe team is spread across Europe and speaks an impressive 13 languages overall. You will sometimes work independently and often work as part of a team, producing intelligence products for varied audiences (e.g., tactical, operational, strategic).

Qualifikationen

What we are looking forward to

• Bachelor degree or higher, technical discipline preferred
• Experience in IT Security, preferably with exposure to application and infrastructure security testing
• Willingness to learn
• Good understanding of the components of a secure software development life cycle
• Strong analytical skills and efficient problem solving
• Knowledge of Security principles, techniques and technologies
• Good understanding of network protocols, design and operations
• Knowledge of threat intelligence concepts, open-source intelligence collection and analysis, and research.
• Certifications from Offensive Security, CREST, SANS, ISC2 or other information security related certifications is a plus
• security knowledge is a plus
• Business fluent command in English and German, any additional language is a plus.
