Your Tasks
Disciplinary Leadership of Simulation Engineering team members
Planning and Coordination of Load Simulation Engineering team projects and tasks
Coordinate with Project Leaders of PG-1 / PG-2 / PG-3 and IM Cluster and assure accurate resource and budget planning in planning tools
Identify and develop industry leading methods and processes for loads simulation execution, stay in line with latest guideline requirements and standards
Take Active role in guideline work and maintenance committees desired
Align with Team Leads within Turbine Engineering and Leaders of adjacent teams with Load Simulation scope on simulation tools development needs and maintenance
Develop and maintain and execute strategic plan on continuous load simulation environment enhancements
Define Requirements and scope of work for tool development done within and outside the team
Partner and align with simulation tools developments in adjacent teams such as IM Cluster and Sales pro-ject Engineering
Communicate progress on project tasks to Department lead Loads & Controls and Turbine Engineering section leader, ensure project closure within expected timeline
Act as point of contact for Load Simulation Engineering questions
Your Qualification
Master's, Bachelor's or Diploma degree (FH) in the fields of mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, renewable energies or comparable
At least 10 years of experience as an engineer in wind simulation technology
At least 5 years of management experience in projects or as a team leader
Many years of experience with wind simulation tools such as BLADED, Flex5, SimPack or similar tools
Detailed knowledge of certification guidelines for wind turbines
