Your tasks

Join Bytro as a Senior DevOps Engineer and play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our leading online strategy games. Our technology spans across a custom Java game engine and a LEMP stack in a Google Cloud architecture, supporting various platforms including mobile (iOS/Android) and desktop (browser/Steam).

• Ensure scalability and reliability in production systems.
• Create a PaaS to build strategy games on top of it.
• Optimize high-traffic systems to boost performance.
• Lead the integration and refinement of cutting-edge tools and technologies.
• Foster collaboration across development, community, and product teams.
• Create and maintain dashboards to visualize key metrics of our systems and services.
• Independently manage your tasks within a collaborative team, no micromanagement.

Your profile

• Solid experience in system administration, cloud services, and automation tools.
• Proficiency in Linux OS and containerization principles.
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and innovation.
• Autonomy while being a team player, we do not micromanage.
• Familiarity with agile development practices.

This will make you stand out:

• A passion for what we are doing and gaming, ideally long-term strategy games.
• DevSecOps experience and a desire to keep us safe.
• Expertise in Google Cloud Networking.
