Mainframe JCL Batch Engineer (m/f/diverse)

Your tasks

• Contributing to the design of standards for batch processing the z/OS operating system;
• Designing, consulting and supporting projects related to Batch processes and technical services (process security, cross-platform data flows, availability, optimization)databases (DB2);
• Designing of batch processes and network diagrams
• Creating application, batch and message-based components as well as network plans for test and production systems
• Other tasks related to the job.

Your profile

• Experience with TWS for zOS;
• Strong JCL knowledge - writing and analyzing;
• Good knowledge in TSO/ISPF;
• Experience with relational databases - SQL;
• Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail, high flexibility and adaptability to fast-changing environment;
• Fluency in English - both written and verbal
• University degree in IT or relevant.

In the New Mainframe cluster, we have bundled all the key area “Technology Foundation” competencies that focus on the strategic IT platform of the IBM mainframe. This is the central mainframe for the mass processing of business transactions, such as payments or securities settlement, and the backbone of online banking.
