Your responsibilities
The Business Transformation Management team supports all Uniper business areas to drive key strategic initiatives across the organization. Besides that we act as advisors and coaches for project management related topics for our senior management and operational project managers. As Business Program Manager you are responsible to manage or contribute to one of Uniper’s key strategic projects or programs demonstrating excellence in all typical project management dimensions (scope-, time-, budget-, risk-, quality-, communication-, supplier-management, etc.).

• You are able to apply and tailor fit for purpose set of tools from classical and agile project management to set up a project or program for success
• You take the lead in driving the project through all stages of its lifecycle
• You facilitate decisions making processes and root cause problem solving on operational and especially senior management level
• You foster strong working relationships across the organisation and ensure appropriate stakeholder management (project internal and external) for operational staff and project steering members up to L1 or even board level
• You develop a solid understanding of various business areas within Uniper to be accepted by Uniper’s business leads as discussion partner on eye level
• You act as role model for excellence in project management and coach or mentor other project managers at Uniper

Your profile

• 5-10 years experience in project management disciplines with proven track record of successful large scale transformation projects, e.g. business strategy implementation, organisational restructuring and operating model implementations, M&A, digitalisation, regulatory or compliance implementation
• Experience in typical management consultancy skills, e.g. forming teams with different cultural background, moderating workshops, driving decisions with senior stakeholders, actively managing change curves
• Excellent communication skills and precise messaging in verbal and written from operational level up to senior management level stakeholders, high quality slide writing is a must
• Proven experience in digital transformations or at least demonstrated interest in digital technologies, the business opportunities they can generate and the mindset and new ways of working required to support them
• Proven experience in business areas of the energy industry preferred
• Willingness to travel up to 40% if project assignment requires
