Job Description

As a department manager, your focus is on our customers. Together with your team, you will create an inspiring shopping experience. You organize the processes in your department and are responsible for the individual development of all your team members.

Your area of responsibility:

You identify opportunities for your department to promote sales, start sales campaigns and regularly communicate with your store manager about the department's development.
You are responsible for delighting our customers with the best service and an inspiring presentation of goods, managing inventory and thus achieving the best possible result for your department.
Analyzing important key figures and setting daily, weekly and monthly goals are part of your daily tasks.
The success of our store is teamwork! As a department manager, you always have an open ear for your colleagues, support them and proactively deploy your team so that everyone can contribute their individual strengths.

Qualifications

To be successful as a Department Manager at H&M, you have a passion for operational business and are well organized. You are an entrepreneur, love fashion and actively make decisions to achieve the best possible result for your department. You trust yourself, your colleagues and the company and maintain an open feedback and dialogue culture. As an optimist, you know how to motivate people. Here all doors are open to your leadership talent.

This is what you bring with you:

Completed training, preferably in textile retail or experience in retail - preferably in a management position.
You see change as an opportunity for development.
The ability to be a role model for your team and lead by example.
You are brave enough to make extraordinary decisions, you always communicate on an equal level and you like to take on responsibility.

Additional Information

This position is a full-time, fixed-term position until August 31, 2025 (option for extension) with 37.5 hours/week. Work starts on June 1st, 2024.
