We are currently recruiting in Wessling, Oberpfaffenhofen.
Responsibilities:
- Development, monitoring and improvement of engineering qualityprocesses, methods, procedures and relevant quality KPI
- Coordination, reviewing for consistency and assist in writing of alladditional processes, procedures and standards owned by the DesignOrganisation; particular contribution to definition of engineeringstandards
- Development and monitoring of quality criteria of engineeringdeliverables, design documents, checklists and similar
- Creation of interface documents required for control of engineeringservices suppliers (DOID, DO-DO agreements)
- Planning and execution of internal and external audits to ensurecompliance to the DOH and its Design Management System (ProcessAudits, Product Audits, engineering services suppliers audits)
- Contribution, planning and support to audits performed by entitiesindependent/external to the Design Organisation (EASA, LBA, HISM)
- Support of root cause analysis for internal and external engineeringquality issues
- Active participation in continuous improvement processes and lessonslearned
- Creation and coordination of Supplier Quality Control Plans,including management of alternatives
- Support Supply Chain Quality with audits of manufacturing suppliers
- Contribution to Aircraft Program Milestones Development Gates
- Support of risk management activities
- Planning and execution of training sessions on quality tools,practices and procedures
- Support to engineering trainings
- Good understanding of quality principles
- Good understanding of engineering quality aspects of an aircraft OEM
- Preferably Engineering degree (BA Eng/Sc) in aeronautics / aviationor mechanical or quality degree
- > 3 year of professional expertise in aircraft industry or inrelevant adjacent field
- Basic knowledge of airframe certification requirements, designcriteria, materials, methods and tools
- New aircraft development experience would be a plus
- Ability to prioritise, manage and execute multiple simultaneoustasks
