Ihre Aufgaben
As a Buyer (d/m/w) for Aftermarket Procurement, you will play a pivotal role in managing sourcing processes to secure the best commercial conditions for aftermarket support across Airbus commercial aircraft. Based in Hamburg and collaborating with international teams in Canada and Portugal, you will interact with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and subcontractors to drive business growth and transformation. In this full-time role, you will support customer needs, optimize sourcing methods, and contribute to delivering competitive aftermarket solutions.
Your tasks:
- Source and secure the most favorable commercial conditions for adhoc customer orders across all product types.
- Conduct regular review meetings with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure fulfillment of customer requests.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal terms and support customer service profitability.
- Identify recurring sourcing issues and take corrective actions for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in planning, supply management, and product management to streamline operations.
- Support the transformation team in developing and implementing new IT tools like SAP and Skywise.
- Drive cost-saving opportunities to enhance aftersales competitiveness.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly performance reviews and initiate targeted actions based on data insights.
To excel as a Buyer (d/f/m) for aftermarket procurement, you should bring strong analytical skills and a process-driven mindset. Your experience and qualifications will set the foundation for success in this dynamic procurement role. A background in supplier management, logistics, or procurement paired with technical proficiency is essential.
Your qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in technical studies, business administration, supply chain management, or economics.
- Three to five years of experience in purchasing, supplier management, or logistics, with a solid track record.
- Proficiency in data analysis to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and familiarity with SAP and Google Workspace.
- Basic knowledge of continuous improvement principles and project management frameworks.
- Fluency in English at a negotiation level; fluency in German and French is an advantageous asset.
