Purpose of your Job

In this role, you ensure that our people-centered HR/People services run smoothly, efficiently, and compliantly across all global locations. You play a key part in creating a seamless employee experience - from hiring to onboarding to offboarding - while supporting scalable HR/People operations for our growing international organization.
You bring structure to complexity, heart to processes, and impact to everything you do.

Note: This is a temporary 14‑month parental leave substitution.

Your Responsibility

People Services & Process Excellence:

  • Ensure high-quality, people-focused administrative support throughout the full employee lifecycle.
  • Manage documentation and processes such as contracts, onboarding, offboarding, leave management and international payroll preparation.
  • Maintain and further optimize Personio to enable accurate reporting, KPIs, and data quality.
  • Support the implementation of fair and consistent policies and HR/People standards across all countries (DE, NL, AT, USA, UK, etc.).
  • Act as a helpful, empathetic point of contact for all employees regarding People Services.

Payroll & Compliance:

  • Prepare and administer payroll-relevant data for external partners.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance and external service providers to ensure smooth, accurate and compliant payroll processes.
  • Safeguard data privacy, legal compliance, and alignment with internal and external requirements.

Continuous Improvement & Collaboration:

  • Contribute to optimizing and digitalizing HR processes and systems.
  • Support cross-functional projects and organizational development initiatives.
  • Bring new ideas, challenge existing structures, and actively help us to grow.
What you need to succeed
  • Successfully completed commercial training or a degree in human resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in HR/People operations, personnel administration, payroll support, or a comparable role, ideally within an international environment.
  • Strong affinity for digital tools and HRIS systems; practical experience with Personio is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel and Word); experience with collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams or Confluence is welcomed.
  • Solid understanding of labor law and social security regulations, with the ability to apply them in day-to-day HR/People processes.
  • High attention to detail, and a structured, process-oriented working style.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and verbal.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Curious, open-minded, eager to learn, and comfortable working in dynamic and evolving environments.
  • High level of reliability, personal accountability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Professional demeanor, discretion, and a strong sense of responsibility when handling sensitive employee information.
