General Ledger Accountant (all genders)

Your future tasks:

Timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
Independent management and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Analysis and commentary on balance sheet and income statement items
Clarification of issues, including in the area of intercompany transactions, and preparation of appropriate documentation for internal and external purposes
Support in preparatory measures for the preparation of the consolidated financial statements
Coordination of relevant reporting issues with controlling colleagues
Participation in the optimisation of processes and the continuous improvement of the internal control system
Technical support and guidance for younger colleagues in the accounting team
Contact person for auditors, tax advisors and internal departments

Your profile

Completed degree in business administration or commercial training with relevant further education
Ideally, successfully passed accounting exam, but not a must
Approximately 10 years of professional experience in finance or accounting, preferably in an international environment, ideally with experience in the wind industry or with construction projects
Confidence in closing accounts in accordance with HGB and IFRS and solid basic knowledge of taxation
Very good SAP knowledge at user level, preferably in S/4HANA
Analytical thinking, structured working style and a high sense of responsibility
Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and sharing your knowledge with the team
Good English skills
