Ihre Aufgaben

Als unser Lead QA Engineer übernimmst Du die volle Verantwortung für unsere Qualitätssicherungsstrategie und -ausführung über den gesamten Produktlebenszyklus. Du spielst eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Definition einer umfassenden QA-Vision, dem Aufbau einer robusten und skalierbaren Testinfrastruktur und der Sicherstellung, dass unsere Produkte die höchsten Standards erfüllen - immer mit Blick auf den End-User.
Du arbeitest eng mit Produktmanagern, Entwicklern und anderen Stakeholdern zusammen, um QA in jede Phase des Entwicklungsprozesses zu integrieren und das Team zu einer Kultur der kontinuierlichen Qualitätssicherung- und verbesserung zu führen.

Du definierst und verantwortest die End-to-End-QA-Strategie für das gesamte Produkt Ökosystem
Du entwickelst und pflegst ein strukturiertes, skalierbares Test-Framework, das unabhängig von spezifischen Funktionen ist und direkt in zukünftigen Entwicklungen angewendet werden kann
Du leitest Refinement Sessions aus der QA-Perspektive und trägst dazu bei, dass die Qualität von Anfang an berücksichtigt wird
Du entwirfst, pflegst und führst sowohl manuelle als auch automatisierte Testfälle aus
Du treibst den Aufbau und die Pflege einer automatisierten Testumgebung für den gesamten Stack voran
Du führst explorative und Regressionstests durch, um Funktionalität, Performance und Benutzerfreundlichkeit sicherzustellen
Du trägst die volle Verantwortung für die Release-Bereitschaft aus kundenzentrierter Perspektive
Du analysierst und dokumentierst Fehler und kommunizierst diese effektiv an unsere Entwicklungsteams
Du verantwortest den Aufbau und die Etablierung von Best Practices in der Qualitätssicherung sowie die Förderung kontinuierlichen Lernens
Du übernimmst die proaktive Erkundung und Anwendung von KI-gestützten Tools und Methoden in der QA, um zukünftige Smart-Testing-Lösungen zu identifizieren und umzusetzen

Ihr Profil

Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Bereich Softwaretests, mit einem starken Hintergrund in manueller und automatisierter QA
Nachgewiesene Erfahrung in der Leitung von QA-Initiativen und -Strategien in funktionsübergreifenden Teams
Solides Verständnis von Testautomatisierungs-Frameworks, CI/CD-Pipelines und QA-Tools
Beherrschung von JavaScript und Vertrautheit mit modernen Entwicklungsumgebungen
Starke Kommunikations- und Kollaborationsfähigkeiten, insbesondere in funktionsübergreifenden und interkulturellen Teams
Starke Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in englischer Sprache, sowohl in Wort als auch in Schrift
Selbstständig, strukturiert und lösungsorientiert mit einem hohen Maß an Detailgenauigkeit
Erfahrung in der Arbeit in Agile/Scrum-Umgebungen
Erste Erfahrung oder starkes Interesse an der Anwendung von KI im Testbereich ist ein großes Plus

Your mission

As our Lead QA Engineer, you will take full ownership of our Quality Assurance strategy and execution across the product lifecycle. You will play a critical role in defining a comprehensive QA vision, building a robust and scalable test infrastructure, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards - always with the end-user in mind.
You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to integrate QA into every phase of the development process and guide the team toward a culture of continuous quality.

Define and own the end-to-end QA strategy across the product ecosystem
Develop and maintain a structured, scalable test framework that is independent of specific features and can be directly applied in future developments
Lead and contribute to refinement sessions with a QA perspective, ensuring quality is considered from the first discussions
Design, maintain, and execute both manual and automated test cases
Drive the build-up and maintenance of an automated testing environment across the stack
Perform exploratory and regression testing, ensuring functionality, performance, and usability
Take full ownership of release readiness from a customer-centric perspective
Analyze, document, and communicate bugs effectively to development teams
Establishing QA best practices and fostering continuous learning
Proactively explore the use of AI tools and techniques in QA, identifying opportunities to implement smart testing solutions in the future

Your profile

Several years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in both manual and automated QA
Proven experience in leading QA initiatives and strategies within cross-functional teams
Solid understanding of test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and QA tooling
Proficient in JavaScript and familiar with modern development environments
Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional and intercultural teams
Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Self-driven, structured, and solution-oriented with a high attention to detail
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
First experience or strong interest in the application of AI in testing is a big plus
