Your future tasks:
- Manage the commercial workstream and commercial team within the project team (either for tender projects or greenfield developments) - lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve relevant project milestones
- Close collaboration with the project management team and internal and external stakeholders (e.g. JV partners)
- Development of bid strategies and/or commercial strategies in close cooperation with the project team and relevant stakeholders under consideration of the regulatory frame, energy market conditions and the project specific circumstances
- Identification of strategic levers and key differentiators to establish a “winning project”
- Overall responsibility for driving and optimizing the project business case and the coordination of related activities
- Overall responsibility for the project risk and uncertainty management
- Responsibility for project controlling and adherence to project budget in close collaboration with the Finance team.
- Development of procurement strategies (in close cooperation with the procurement team)
- Development of offtake strategies (in close cooperation with the energy markets team)
- Support in establishing a partnering setup and participation in the negotiation of relevant agreements
- Support in establishing required legal entities with a view on the commercial implications (e.g. from a financing and tax & accounting perspective)
- Prepare, manage and submit bid documentation ensuring compliance with tender regulations and requirements
- Perform market & competitor analysis to understand the competitive landscape
- Proven experience in the Project Management of large-scale offshore wind projects with a focus on development / tender projects
- Very good understanding of relevant commercial mechanisms and key drivers to improve the project profitability
- Understanding of project financing and implications thereof onto an offshore wind project
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Fluent in English, additional language beneficial
