Your Tasks

Main interface and responsible person for the project
Defining the project goals for the payload in close cooperation with the customer, the overall project manager and the higher-level company management
Ensuring the correct definition of the technical basis for the items to be developed, produced and delivered
Define, implement and adhere to the project schedule and budget allocation for the payload Setup
Responsibility for accurate and timely resource planning for the internal payload project team
Organizing a team structure, coordinating all tasks and processes, and conducting regular project meetings, both with the main contractor and internally
Ensure good collaboration with other internal departments and teams through regular communication and the development and agreement of work orders
Monitoring and control of technical progress, schedule, costs and quality compared to the project
Regular reporting on the project status with all relevant stakeholders
Control, evaluate, and approve changes that significantly impact scope, budget or schedule

Your Qualifications

Studies in a relevant engineering discipline (degree in aerospace technology or comparable qualification)
Technical and methodological competence in project management methods and several years of relevant practical experience as a project manager (m/f/d) or subcontractor manager (m/f/d) of complex subcontracts
Proven skills in professional and ideally also disciplinary team leadership
Very good understanding of the relevant standards and OHB processes
Very good economic understanding and high ability to balance and prioritize between quality, costs and schedule
Very good communication skills, negotiation skills, decision-making skills and conflict resolution skills
Strong skills in motivation, delegation, knowledge transfer and network building
Very good analytical skills and presentation skills
High willingness to travel
