Your Tasks

System Engineering for development projects from Phase A to E1 on system and sub-system level from requirements management, design definition, coordination of manufacturing, assembly, integration and test for the implementation of housings, instruments, sensors, optics, mechanisms and fluidic systems
Possibly project management activities (based on the respective qualifications and experience)
Ensure information exchange and networking within project team, with functional departments and external entities
Act as main focal point on technical topics for specific projects regarding AIT, Software, PA/QA, SCM
Preparation and maintenance of documentation (e.g. design documents, interface control documents, test procedures, test reports)
Proposal preparation as well as evaluation of subcontractor proposals
Support of assembly, integration and testing in the OHB laboratories and at various testing facilities in Europe

Your Qualifications

Degree in engineering
At least two years of experiences in the aerospace sector as a system engineer, preferably in phase C/D/E1 hardware projects
Familiarity with ESA/DLR/NASA ISS program documentation, interface management, ECSS, safety processes and support of scientific tests
High level of motivation, strong teamwork skills, pro-active and multi-tasking approach
Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
Fluency in written and spoken English (Business English)
