Your Tasks

Lead the design of the data handling subsystem
Define and develop the data handling subsystem of the satellite, covering initial sizing, trade offs, Interface Budgets and performances
Technical responsibility for the satellite DHS integrity, thus for system level activities including requirements engineering, design and performance engineering
Overall responsibility for the Data Handling engineering activities, to ensure technical quality as well as adherence to schedule and cost
Define strategy, analysis and test cases for the DHS verification: Satellite configuration and interface control, DHS budget control and subsystem level test plans
Coordinate review of specifications with respect to impact on data interfaces
Coordination with the Avionics Lead
Support system level design reviews
Focal point to customers for the Satellite electrical systems
Deliver the data handling subsystem in time and budget

Your Qualifications

A degree in engineering with a major in electrical engineering or compatible qualification
More than 3 years of professional experience as electronic systems engineer or in similar positions
Good conceptual and analytical skills
Experience with hardware projects in phase B/C/D in the field of avionics systems
Strong capability of leading engineering teams
Excellent communication skills, flexibility and ability to work independently
Fluency in spoken and written English
Fluency in German is desired
